Have you ever struggled to believe that God is real? Or maybe you think God is real, but you've struggled to believe that he would really provide for you? Join the club. I struggle with trusting God for provision every single day.
This year, Lisa and I have made a radical commitment to trusting God with our finances, and it's been an amazing journey. Today, here's how God showed me that HE is in control of my needs.
1. I have a car. In the last two and a half weeks, five major problems have risen with it.
-Air Conditioning stopped working.
-Power steering required maintenance.
-Electrical wires stopped working.
-Battery crapped out.
-There were some scratches on the trunk.
2. I have 1,500 miles of warranty left so I was waiting to get them taken care of.
-Then I felt "lead" to call the dealer about it. Turns out...
MY WARRANTY EXPIRES IN 24 HOURS!!!
So I took it in, and they are taking care of ALL the problems. Had I waited 24 hours (that I thought I had), the repairs would have cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Instead, it was FREE. Plus the scratches on the trunk were caused by the dealer, so they covered that too.
Ever think God's not going to provide for you? Me too. I just thought I'd share this today if you're struggling to trust Him for financial provision.
CHALLENGE: Give Him the steering wheel of your finances today. Last time I checked, it's all His anyways.
