This weekend, CITY CHURCH started our "preview" phase of our ministry at Chain Reaction. What an awesome weekend it was. We had a phenomenal turnout; and from the get go people entered in, listened to the message, and really seemed to have a genuine encounter with God. Granted, you'd have to talk to each person to get their perspective; but stories upon stories of powerful ministry keep hitting me.

3 from the Service.

A young man who had been searching for a place to plug in found a home at City Church. We met him only 2 days prior.

Someone responded from Twitter & came and felt that it was exactly what he needed.

Another person came and simply said that he felt "at peace." Not sure what his full story is; but I know that God is at work.

1 FROM THE BBQ

3 Day laborers came back for our free BBQ to hang out. One of them had not seen his family in 8 years; but continues to call his wife every morning. He has a child who was 1 when he left that is now nine. We welcomed him in and spend time with him.
